Summer Courses

Summer Business School

The Université Laval Summer Business School program is an introduction to international trade in the context of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). During a three-week period starting in mid-May, students will learn about the historical, political, social and economic factors that have shaped Canada’s trade policies and how those factors impact trade in other North American countries. The Faculty of Business Administration’s English website will provide more information on this program and other regular undergraduate and graduate sessional programs:

Percé International Summer School

Université Laval’s Percé International Summer School of Visual Arts and Architecture inaugurated its activities during the summer of 2002 by offering a master’s-level upgrading course in visual arts. Five years later, in the summer of 2007, it offered 10 intensive sessions in visual arts, graphic design, architecture (Land Art) and philosophy. In a magnificent setting of the Gaspé Peninsula, the School offers credited training, workshops and master's classes under the supervision of "masters": Lucas de Groot, type designer and professor at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam in Germany, Stefan Sagmeister, Austrian graphic designer currently based in New York, and Pierre Thibault, architect, are but a few of the internationally-acclaimed artists giving master's classes at the Percé International Summer School. 350 students have attended the Summer School since its creation. Please note that some of the classes and workshops are given in the English language.
